Family Relationships

It is in human instincts that parents will protect their children. Aside from the occasional psychopaths, parents will never intentionally harm their children. I am pretty sure it has been like this throughout time. It ensures that there will be future generations to come; a survival behavior that exists in all living things.
Our parents do much more for us. For most of us right now, they create a safe haven for us; a place called home. The stress and the troubles we experience right now are not as drastic as they could because we know that we have our parents supporting us. I think it is fair for me to say that life would be hell right now if we did not have parents helping us.
Parents are always there to give advice. I am sure most people have heard the "back in my day" stories from their parents. They are just trying to teach you mistakes that they have made in the past and try to make sure that we don't repeat it. They are also trying to explain to you that things right now are so different from how it was back then, that the world is constantly changing and advancing. We should be happy and enjoy what we have now.
Though I don't know how it feels to be a parent yet, I am pretty sure that I will love and care for my children with all my heart. I wouldn't really have to worry about that though because it is something that I will subconsciously do. It is in our nature to do so.

  1. But what about specific relationships? Like the father-son, mother-daughter, etc.? I agree about the general ideas.
